Nice surprise yesterday. Daughter Caroline had driven up from Kent with grandchildren Liberty and Sam to spend Easter with us. It's nice to have kids in the place; makes it seem more like a family home than the nursing home annex.They went off horse riding this afternoon. Nice instructors. Good location. Nice steady horses but sadly in need of a damned good brushing and trimming. My old horseriding master would have had a fit. I was just stroking Caroline's mount and had a handful of hair every stroke.
